The aims of the Street Children of Nepal Trust are:

  • To relieve hunger and improve nutrition amongst the destitute Street Children of Nepal
  • To support the education of poor and homeless Street Children in Nepal
  • To relieve the financial hardship of the Street Children of Nepal
  • To assist like-minded individuals and organisations in Nepal to attain their own objectives in these fields

nscglobal’s contribution has helped support a number of programs:

  • Children's Food Programme
  • The Children Welfare Home
  • Village School

As well as setting up some new initiatives:

  • New Shelter in Kathmandu for Street Children which could be sustained for 2 years
  • A small new orphanage in Kathmandu

A locally run charity in Antigua, Guatemala providing improved housing to impoverished local families who live in shanty town conditions. The charity focuses on helping single parent mothers who have several children to take care of.

The charity provides materials for construction, but the family is required to show commitment to ensures only those families who truthfully need and appreciate the benefit to their standard of living succeed in gaining improved housing.

Whilst the charity does not bring the family out of poverty, it greatly improves the domestic standard of living.

nscglobal’s contribution has helped support a number of programs:
  • Construction of 24 new homes
  • Basic furnishing
  • Providing many children with a year’s tuition and school supplies.
